I had a totally fun night with my PW members yesterday..they came over to my house to "pia" PW =P we sat down to have dinner while we were watching this liu xing xiao yuan..or some crappy school-belle-and-hunks searching entertainment show ..and we were laffing so much over e lousy belles and hunks..(with my mum included)! crazy..i tink my PW gp thinks my mum abit too high or siao..hahahs..

then asked my gp to quickly go and shower then we could start on PW..in order for our BIG plan to be implemented...budden..they insisted on finish watching charmed. Finally every1 bathed (except for Sam) and he took like 25 mins to bath..JA won the bet against amy on the time Samuel wood come out of the silly toilet.. LOUSY LAR YOU! SHOWER SO LONG...really like slow tortoise..somemore a guy. OR r YOU? =PP

finally got down to doing OP script..was so sleepy..i kept dozing off..but at least i finished annotating all my research parts, Finally at 230 am, we completed out OP stuff! yay =)) then we suddenly all woke up and cheonged downstairs to set up the MAHJONG TABLE~ which was in fact the highlight of the nite's prog..
played till 430..with amy having plenty of beginners luck! bleah..
after that we had a nap of 2 hours then set off fr sch..i shall not comment on the series of events in the morning(about washing up) that made my mum conclude guys nowadays are getting so LAN...hahahaha..=PP

Weirdly, i wasnt too tired or anything and kept awake summore throughout the whole day.. I had a pleasant surprise today..with my name appearing on the list of students eligble for S papers.. =)) and was offered 4! so decided to take maths and chem in the end..finally something good out of the whole yr! =PP

yeps..had another excruciating PW session with mdm tay after that..and then we went off to HOlland Village to eat ITalian food..the pasta was really good..and the pizza's crust was superb..it was really value for money.. anw..we had a hard time trying to keep our voices down in the refined ambience of the restaurant...

was actually sup to meet eric for lunch..but he was so engrossed with playing with his cards and i was quite bored of waiting..so i went off to eat with my class instead.hope he wasnt angry or anything =P felt quite apologetic after i went off..so tried to make it up by wanting to buy some good food back for him =P

oh yay! i got into TAG.. from 16 to 19th nov =) wil be going with iggy.linli and this girl called serene.heard shes from dunman..so i guess the combi will be full of fun! with iggy and linli already enough =))

yeps..just got off the phone with eric...he reminds me of my sis! can talk damn damn fast..and then transition from one topic to another with so much ease..well..i can talk well to him.I wonder if this is a trait of dunmanians CO..hee..

had a totally tiring day today..slept at 340 yesterday..pia-ing WR..now sup to do OP.but quite sian. Slept so much when i came home today!then woke up and hurriedly prac my qin..anw..i got yin hao and jonlin to help me.went down to tanjong katong complex yesterday and changed my stringsto picastro (german strings..damn ex $18 per set) and my bridge...changed my qian jin..and gave my erhu a good polish after i came home..the sound s a bit lacking in lustre still..but very very much clearer! im so happy..i really need a clear sound for jiang nan chun se =P

anw..im counting down to the competition..i hope i wont fare badly..boohoohoo..
month of nov is a crucial month.whether i can get someting or lose horribly wil depend on that month.=PP

woohoo todays open house was quite fun and happening..i enjoyed the MAd dances! was really nice.the jazz one and the guys who did hiphop were good..Weidi was damn damn good~! his jerks are like...piang.impeccable..hahahs..

wait and wait and waited for co to begin..then met up with some of my juniors..and then brot cf ard..intro her to some stuff..after that silly hl msg to say she wavering about her choice liao..hahas...dunno! u guys have to decide urself..
watched the ELd play..was really good..i must say zarine is attractive so is ruimin..tho dawn seems a lil less experienced than the others..impressive plot i must say..

after that went out with eric, eng2, derrick n dayang..went to suntec sakae to have buffet.and had a great time there trying to eat as much as we can..and eric was so mesmerized by the tofu..i think he order like 4 plates? or 5 ?? then we took out cards..played indian poker..played daidee..played go fish..to wait for the food to settle then we start 2nd round..
Indian poker was like betting on the green, food and wasabi lor! i had to eat a whole spoon of wasabi..but eric was qutie kind.he gave me much lesser.. in the end i think we were prob more full by the green tea instead of the sushi!anw..i realised that eric and i have the same taste for food..we all like the tako, scallop and jellyfish!! hee..and we were trying desperately to speak in jap...

went ard after tat and shopped ard suntec..saw some pretty clothes but didn go try on lar..with the guys ard..searched for a wallet but cudn find any nice one..there was this billabong one lor.but price too steep..asking my sis to prob buy from Aus for me =PP

stupid ignatius came over and frightened me about TAG.he said "(results) out already?" then i said " i OUT?" then he tried to bluff me by saying im out. stupid idiot...but anw i have a premonition i wil be out...
okie..tmr got PW.gotta sleep early..toook some funny photos with the class today..will upload soon! =))

yepsee...got back all my results..some made me happy..some gave me a shock and some were not so satisfying..but overall not too bad..ABBB... (heh..improvement from blk BBBC) actually its only my maths that moved from C to A =D anw..my fate now lies on whether i can take my 2 S papers!
Clao and GP were ok..got the usual results.. yeps..but fared horribly for compre..luckily my essay pulled me up =)

hah..actually the only subject that im unhappy with is my chem! i could have gotten my A! Just cos i wasnt focused during the exam..and probably haven settled down yet..cos it was the first paper of all.. but all's over..shall try to find mdm Chng tmr to talk to her about it-) went to find her today and then sam lee said " you can never find mdm chng later than 2 pm"..hmm..interesting =P

heh..GP was a double shock? failed my compre ( i still can comprehend WHY i failed my compre..karen neo was shocked too =PP) and got highest for essay..MAN! its like highest+lowest= moderate marks=C5 hahas..CLAO was okay..got 80 for whole yr overall..budden chen lao shi was like" you could have gotten better if you had submitted your work for the yr" yea..got a shock when i compared my marks to the rest of my chinese class..cos mine had so many ungraded.. heh..didnt noe i pon so many lessons and didnt pass up my work

Im beginning to be totally convinced with the fact that i sealed a horrible fate about my future when i decided to come to the inexorable HC. Well, its the usual topic of me being in angst over THE fateful decision but damn. Its just me. Sometimes, the school seems perfectly alright, sometimes its just acceptable, at other times its simply stifles me. I might sound distraught but thats probably whats going through my mind most of the time. It might sound utterly foolish to be attempting to convince myself of MY decision, which is futile anyway since i cant do anything about it, but i JUST CANT HELP IT alright.

Damn.

Perhaps i should not encourage my juniors to come. Although i believe in the innocence and sincerity of the students in hc ( something which i seek at least some solace in), this shouldn't be the reason to pull my juniors here. I have probably been running away from this me-against-HC thing and even when people speak to me about HC, i try to put on a brave front and not make myself seem so FOOLISH by choosing to come to HC. aka save face.
Hahahs..
seriously..after deep scrutinizing, i realise that theres nothing in HC that might bring on a smile or even sweet tears after i graduate...

10 things i hate about HC
1. The egregious school spirit.
2. The inexorable admin.
3. The small school compounds and lousy facilities
4. Totally inflexible irresponsible teachers (some lar..not all)
5. Lack of passion towards ccas (i see ZZ and VPs ponning cca)
6. Lack of after school activities
7. Location in a far away place called Bukit Timah which has KAP, Serene Centre, Adam market and all-time favourite Coronation at our whims and needs. (compare to RGS IN orchard)
8. The big big big time chao muggers (they screw up my life for nuts)
9. Jaunty guys
10. Poor command and expression of Universal English anywhere in HC (hello...? how to communicate properly if you cant even pronounce your words for nuts!!)

Alrite..the list can go on and on..i know i have sufficient points to continue this long diatribe on HC.Oh yes..did i mention i would be a student graduate from a school called The Chinese High School in the near future? A harbinger on my true sexual identity yea?
Thats just life.

P.S. to CF, HL and other sec 4s reading this..its my personal opinion. BUt for the better of your mental and health status as well as physical development, i would PROPOSE that you not come to hc. =)

i watched the much awaited police story with my mum today! She hadnt watched a movie for so long so i told her to watch it with me and i pushed away my frens who wanted to watch that with me! so nice rite =)) so proud of myself..
i bot a pair of nike sports shoes today..i think its quite nice..=PP silver and red..but bet some1's gonna make comments on it tmr =P and then my mum and i were wondering wad to eat for dinner then i suggested fish and co cos she hadn been there as well! so i brot her in and ordered nice nice stuff for her to makan..hope she enjoyed it=))

was just talking to Chenfeng and she was "updating" me on the competitors i have for ncmc..hahas..its quite scary to see 3o ppl there..but i ll just try my best nonetheless! i hope i wont freak out on that damn stage! -)

getting back more papers tm i think..hope i can get good marks =PP

we got back our maths paper today..and i got 83! yay..got my A for the yr liao..now hoping for another A from chem so that i can get S! budden..i think chem i CMI..boohooo..
And zai lala got 94!!! omg omg..shes crazy! but i guess this is just a continuation of the scholars presence...=) can u guys imagine how stressed i was sitting beside such a zai person for two years??? pOOr me!

I went down to shangyin for my much awaited lesson today. As i entered shangyin, i was shocked to find the whole place without any music or sound. So with trepidation, i explored the place and was horrified to find myself facing a whole room of all the lao shi..ding lao shi..guan lao shi..lin lao shi..blablabla..scaree... i think i tried to give a cool nod to acknowledge them..and ran off!
okay the above was to write in better english...a futile attempt by tanliyu..as u all can see. CaO lu! rao le wo ba!

gosh..i enjoyed lin lao shi's lesson today! he was really really good.he gives me such a good picture of the songs..tho i think he was disgusted by my playing..but he was soo responsible..dragged the lesson time until he finished the entire song with me..and so patient!Hes good! If only i cud have lessons with him and wgy tgt in future! (money concerns) WGy goes into detail and technical while he goes over the overall presentation. BEsT of BOTh worlds! =)
I must admit i was rather skeptic of him initially...but he inspired me so much that i practised lots today..and decided to stay in tmr to prac! man...he rox.. =P

gosh...my legs are aching...i think its the accumulation of all the shopping and walking around...man...

today was supposed to be Festival of Sports..SUPPOSED..yea..but unappreciative hc ppl just pon off..and many activities didnt work out...Emmeline and me were doing referee/registration stuff for push ball..but in the end apparently those who signed up either believed the ball was too huge or too ugly or for wadeva reason..they just decided not to turn up. And ya..timothy's class 7A apparently disappeared into thin air..

then in the end we played push ball and theres this girl from 61 who totally dislocated her arm..its damn damn painful..gosh she was so strong..didnt shed a tear =/

oh wels..then played a lil badminton with the gina and lala.. then had a good talk with miss neo in the canteen..then went to play netball with several RGS girls...heee..i was REALLY lousy..and yan fang was so damn fast...=P oh man..i think i hai-ed the gp..but luckily they won 2nd in the end..that just goes to tell how much i ve learnt from my non-sporty but musical classes since sec sch days and in hc as well..=PP

met up with lala jieying and weilin for dinner then we went to shangri la for Uni Pennsylvania talk..It was quite tiring..and i kept nodding off throughout the whole event..=PP and then there was this girl called catherine who graduated from U Penn, same batch and same fac as my bro..Wonder if my bro knows about her...i think he shud noe..since its his dream sch and she was probably ONE of the TWO singaporeans to get in that yr..Think my bro shud have nursed a grudge against her...hee

oh oh..lin lao shi's picture turned out in the newspapers today....hahas..he looks funny there...and im gonna find him on fri to have lessons..i hope we wont get a shock when he hears me play..
my playing has improved..i can feel my fingers being more agile after so many technical scales...but somethings still seriously lacking.. These few days haven been in such a good mood or being able to concentrate on stuff...cos of this..Its SOOO stressful! promos wasnt even really stressful...man..can u imagine it my own beloved instrument is making me stressed. =((

Im listening to maksim mrvica 's album now..hes this croatian pianist who is extremely groovy on the technical side..but musical wise...i dun think hes really good...but hes a good source of inspiration for me! aloy burned it for me. Thanks =D its super nice..i like claudine and etude in C..printed out the scores..hoping to work it at the piano when i have the time.

Life has been so much more relaxing after promos..been so able to do things at my own pace and not feel guilty at all for not studying or revising..at least the three weeks or close to 4 of torture is over! Been spending lotsa money these few days..and i bot many stuff...hope i wont go broke
