okie, i just realised this blog has died for soo long i decided to wipe off the dust and exercise my fingers a bit. Well at least fundraising at suntec has started to bring a bit of human life back into me, in contrast to the life zapping raffles place, so i still have the energy to type entries?=P

man i feel like squeezing every dollar out of suntec, who cares if i ve approached the same person thirty times!? the person who donated will probably have understood the caUSe and wil not have any hard feelings towards me. Besides, wad else can she/ he ( i think women are scarier) possibly do to me! bash me up? snide? sneer? scold? become a madwoman? i think i ve met them all alr, so just IGNORE THEM!heck!!
walao today i got so bored, i decided to do a ratio check of the frequency of donations. Actually, i was egged on by the mr john seow who donated 50 bucks to jieying! *jealous* hahah he asked me wad was the frequency, so tada i was just bored so i started to count.

two..
three..
four .....
guess wad i couldnt keep up with my count more than that. my maths can fail. actually i suspect its cos im just too preoccupied with trying to pounce on the next person to persaude him/her to donate hahah=P
well i had my fair share of nice days in suntec and nice people. There was the 100 dollars lady from UBS, the working woman outside carrefour who felt the elderly very poor thing and finally put in a 50 bucks=) yea the trust that these people have in me just MAKES me wanna work harder
And i ve witnessed tai tai prowess!! i tel yu girls out there its not easy to be a tai tai. there are some terms to abide by:
1. gotta walk with a confident strut. cannot overdo some more or else will look like a slut instead..
2. gotta have at least 5 shopping bags in your hands at any one time, or else will very lao kui (no face)
3. OR to forgo term 2, carry ONE shopping bag from one extermely high end shop
4. must carry a handbag worth thousands, not those gucci bag thats in fad now. THats too commoner alr.
and i like the following...
5. dun bat an eye when someone asks you to donate ten bucks. instead ask, " so how to do a donation?" in an understanding voice, trying to balance the shoping bags at the same time (must have poise even when donating).
" Is it a cash donation?" -diao-
Oh my new tactic today is to tell the explain to the kids CLEARLY wad are they putting in the money for, and i think the parents wil find it a worthwhile donation=)
